Ep 19: Your Questions - What Should I Eat?
A question I get all the time from listeners and new clients is, “What should I eat?!?”
There’s so much confusion around food, what we should or shouldn’t be eating, so it’s a fair question.
In this episode, I’m going to break it all down and give you important guidelines to follow.
When we’re talking about weight loss and diets, there are plenty of experts (of varying degrees) like people on social media, family members, and books that have very strong opinions on what you “should” be eating.
But none of those rules know YOU or take you and your personal situation into account.
What I know for sure is that you and your body know what works for you. So we always start there. That’s why it’s the first of my 3 guidelines for what to eat 🙂
- Only you know what you should be eating. Tuning in to your body around food and hunger is the way to get clear on this.
The other two guideline follow after the first is established:
- Everything in moderation.
- Lean toward whole foods.
With these three guidelines, you can enjoy your food, feel ease in choosing and preparing it and know your body is getting what it needs–all the while getting to your goal weight.
